What is Android Software Development Kit (SDK)

Android is an operating system for small electronic device such as cellphone,internet TV, PDA etc. Android developed by Google and android based upon the Linux kernel and GNU software. Android is open source operating system.

A software development kit (android SDK) that enables android developers to create applications
for the Android platform. The Android SDK includes many sample projects with theirs source code,
development tools, an emulator, and a very smart libraries to build Android applications.
Applications are written using the Java programming language and run on Dalvik,
a custom virtual machine designed for embedded use which runs on top of a Linux kernel.
